Ruth Eileen Frye Williams

Ruth Eileen Frye Williams, 93, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  She was born in Cheshire, Ohio, to the late Lenna Ellen King Frye and Charles Wesley Frye.  She is also predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Bob. Daughters-in-law, Patti Williams and Betty Williams; granddaughter, Patty Beedy; and seven brothers and sisters.

Ruth was a member of Gracepointe Nazarene Church in Loganville, GA, and she attended Peace Free Will Baptist Church in Florence.  She loved being involved in church work and playing the piano and organ.  She enjoyed motorcycle riding and traveling with her husband, Bob, and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her son, Robert David Williams; daughter, Deborah Eileen Williams; son, Stephen Douglas Williams (Amy); three grandsons, Michael Beedy (Karen), Luc Williams (Carolyn) and Jake Williams; brother, Paul David Frye (Pat); seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11am, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Gracepointe Church of the Nazarene, 2900 Rosebud Road, Loganville, GA 30052.
