Robert Nelson Quinn, 67, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Charleston, SC, a son of the late John Francis Quinn and Elizabeth Louise McIntire Quinn.
Robert was a US Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the VNVMC, road name “Cowboy”. He worked for many years as a master welder, helping to build nuclear power plants all over the country. Robert loved to help people and had a “Heart of Gold”.
Surviving is his son, Robert N. Quinn, Jr. (Sheila); daughter, Lisa Toniolo (Gregory); grandchildren, Isabella Marie Toniolo, Devin Matthew Toniolo, and Draven Lee Quinn; five siblings, John Michael Quinn, Timothy Joseph Quinn, Patrick Anthony Quinn, Maureen Elizabeth Quinn Rude and Theresa Eileen Quinn Horne; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home Chapel. The family will speak to those in attendance following the service.
