Peggy Lou Bacot Calcutt

Peggy Lou Bacot Calcutt, 80, of Florence, SC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her residence.  Peggy was born in Cheraw, SC, a daughter of the late E.G. And Lina Quick Bacot.  She was a retired cosmetologist for over forty years having worked at Betty Stephens and Hair by Zenda.  She was a member of Effingham Presbyterian church, the Fellowship of Friends, the Fellowship Sunday School Class and sang in the choir.  She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her daughter, Ginger Ann Williamson and her siblings, Gene, Harold, Laverne, Bobby and Danny Bacot and Mildred Hammond.

Surviving is her loving husband of 44 years, Willie Joe Calcutt; granddaughter, Lindsay Leeann (Eric) Driggers, three great grandchildren, Rivers, Holden and Everly Ann Driggers, a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Hewitt Cemetery directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the funeral home.
