Michael Edward Almers

Michael E. Almers, 54, of Florence, SC passed away on October 2, 2023. Michael was born on September 15, 1969, to William M. Almers and Carole L. Hall in Charleston, SC. He was a graduate of South Florence High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Michael’s love of the outdoors began in the Boy Scouts and continued throughout his life - camping, fishing and hunting.

Michael is survived by his father, William M. Almers, mother, Carole L. Hall, stepfather, Don Hall, brother, Kevin J. Almers (Jennifer), nephews, Lacon Almers, Andrew Howle, Drayton Howle, Brennan Howle and a niece, Ruth Almers. He was predeceased by his stepmother, Kathy Almers and a sister-in-law, Shelley Almers.

The family will have a private service at a later date and ask that any donations be made to the Humane Society.
