Mark Thomas Pohlman

Mark Thomas Pohlman, 55, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.  He was born in Baltimore, MD, a son of Marian J. Christman Pohlman and the late Marvin A. Pohlman. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Susan Pohlman.  

Mark was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word.  He was a member of the SC Handicap Association and served as president for a number of years, hosted by the VFW.  Mark was a beloved resident of Heritage Nursing Center and he loved music, in fact was a die-hard Parrott Head.  He also loved his Clemson Tigers. 

Surviving is his brother, Jim (Polly) Pohlman, two sisters, Kathy Lofton and Karen (Mike) Lind; and a number of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. 

A church-led memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Pohlman family.
