June Anne Tinker Smith, 79, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019. She was born in Upland, PA, a daughter of the late Roy Lee Tinker and Caroline Anna Julia Grau Tinker. She is also predeceased by a granddaughter, Sherise Nicole Anderson; son in law, Daniel Hall; and five sisters, Marie Wagner, Caroline Todd, Anna Mundy, Florence Robbins and Patsy Tinker.
She was a founding member of Dawsey United Methodist Church and was the owner/operator of Alpha-Omega Inventory Specialists. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and loved crocheting and knitting and she donated her works to the needy. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Robert Smith, Sr.; three daughters, June Smith Bissette (Stuart), Lori Smith Deitch (Paul) and Kelly Smith Hall; her son, Bill Smith, Jr.; grandchildren, Brandy A. Smith, Heather Deitch Hodges (Stephen), Holly M. Lane, Natalie Jewel Hall and Alaina Danielle Hall; four great grandchildren; a brother, John Tinker; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
