Judy Nell (Hartfield) Smith

Judy Nell Smith, 71, of Florence, passed away early Saturday morning, August 18, 2018 at the McLeod Hospice House.  Judy was born in Hemmingway, SC, a daughter of the late Rev. Willie Mack and Frances Stone Hartfield.  She loved the Lord and was a loving mother, nana, and sister.

She is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband, Howard Edward Smith and a brother, Samuel Hartfield.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lorraine (Bubba) Stokes and Stefanie (Davis) Dorsey; four grandchildren, Taylor Stokes, Zack Tanner, Harrison Stokes, and Landon Dorsey; two sisters, Willie Von Langley and Rebecca (Jim) Stratton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2018 in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home and other times at the residence of her daughter, Stefanie and Davis Dorsey.  A private burial will take place at a later date in the Florence National Cemetery.
