Joseph "Joey" T. Kirshy

Joseph “Joey” T. Kirshy, 46, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  He was born in Sumter, SC, a son of Mitry “Jim” Kirshy and the late Sylvia Spray Kirshy.  Joey was the co-owner of Old South Cabinetry and Carolina Table.  He enjoyed restoring Jeeps and trucks and dirt bikes with his son, Joseph.  He also built really amazing woodwork. 

Joey is survived by his father; his son, Joseph Kirshy, II; brother, Mitry Michael Kirshy, Jr. (Candy); sister, Elizabeth Grace Kirshy; brother, William Todd Rhodes; niece, Anniston Kirshy; nephew, Mitry Kirshy; and his aunt and uncle, Darryl Mitry Kirshy and Gail Kirshy. 

A funeral service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Florence. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church just prior to the service.
