Janet Gale Elvis

Janet Gale Elvis, 76, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023.  She was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late William and Mable Martin Dominick.  Janet was retired from ESAB and was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.  She loved gardening, walks on the beaches of Georgetown and Murrell’s Inlet.  The apple of her eye was her grandson, David.

Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Robert Elvis; two sons, Keith Elvis and Todd Elvis (Karen); grandson, David Elvis; and a sister, Jenny Gantt (Ansel).

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Tabernacle United Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House.
