Fred Curtis Coleman

Fred Curtis Coleman, 70, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020.  He was born in Germany, a son of the late Ray Preston and Barbara Arnold Coleman.  He is also predeceased by a daughter, Sabrina Coleman, and a brother, Ray Preston Coleman, Jr.

Mr. Coleman served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked in the finance department for Florence Toyota. 

He is survived by two daughters, Selena Coleman and Tanya Coleman; a sister, Cheryl (friend – Rick Pait) Mathis; a brother, Derrell (Faye) Coleman; seven grandchildren, Austin (Shyann) King, Kylee Nettles, Kierra Nettles, Dylan Coleman, Jada Sermershein, Jasmine Sermershein, and Jace Sermershein,; one great-grandchild, Allie King; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with Military Honors, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Florence National Cemetery.  The family will speak to those in attendance following the service.
