Elizabeth Ann Hill

October 11, 1961 ~ November 26, 2021 (age 60)

Elizabeth Ann Hill, 60, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence after spending the holiday surrounded by family. She was born in Sunbury, PA, a daughter of the late David Gahan and Alice Bolig (John) Rapp. She was a graduate of Columbia High School, later receiving a Bachelor’s from Hood college, and garnered friendships that lasted up until her passing. She was employed with McLeod Regional Medical Center where she continued to pour care into her local community, while also being a valiant member of PeeDee Community Fellowship. She was truly compassionate and caring to those around her, while also being loved and cared for by those close to her. Mrs. Hill showered those around her with her love of cooking and baking, and truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in any capacity.

Surviving in addition to her mother and step-father, is her loving husband of 27 years, Joseph Edward Hill, their two children Katherine Sarah (Troy) Myers and Ethan Hill, her sister Kelly Lynn Hill, and two grandchildren by marriage.

To say she was loving and caring is an understatement, and for all those who were touched by Elizabeth and her care, will forever take with them these moments and remember them fondly.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home. Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hill Family.

As she was an avid lover of sea turtles and other marine life in the Carolinas, the family would like memorials made in Mrs. Hill’s name to the Coastal Conservation Association of South Carolina (CCA), 3021-10 McNaughton Drive, Columbia, SC 29223,
