Dan Thomas "Bubba" Davis, Jr.

Dan Thomas Davis, Jr., born December 26, 1965 in Millen, GA, known to his family and close friends as “Bubba” went to his heavenly home, where he continues to watch over and guide us on May 24, 2021. 

Bubba is missed and loved by his wife and soulmate of 22 years, Tammie S. Davis, his son and best friend, Jake Simmons Davis.  His three fur babies, Pookie, Charlie and “Lil” Gray all of the home.  He was our superman.

Step-daughters, Tammie (Jason) Simmons, Katie (Dustin) Odom both of Florence.  Grandchildren, Gracie, Brianna, Carson, Cameron, Carter and Lily.  A son, Thomas Davis and grandson, Daniel.  Two daughters, Dray and Devan Davis. 

A sister, Dana (Paul) Gamble.  Nephews, Tyler, Beau and Chris “Lil Bubba” and nieces, Kristin “Sissy” (Amy) Davis and Danielle.  A brother, Mike Deal.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Thomas Davis, Sr. and his mother, June Jenkins Martin.

His loves were his family, grandchildren and career.

He worked in powerline construction and was a journeyman lineman/foreman and a previous general foreman.  He was experienced in transmission, distribution and underground.  He had worked the entire East Coast.  He was last employed as a foreman with Sumter Utilities.
