Claude "Tory" Victor Brown, III

After years of battling to find true joy, Claude Victor (Tory) Brown, III (46) found lasting peace and joy in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Tory was born in Fort Benning, GA., on February 6, 1976, to Claude Victor Brown, Jr. and Linda Lynch Brown. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He worked in the Construction Industry. He was a musician, father, and husband, who loved his family. He was also very generous, giving his time, especially coaching youth baseball. Tory loved all Boston professional sports and The Clemson Tigers. He enjoyed golf, and was a huge Tiger Woods fan.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory; father, Claude Victor Brown, Jr. of Florence, SC and mother, Linda Lynch Brown of Timmonsville, SC; wife, Jessica Griggs Brown of Florence; children, Claude Victor Brown, IV of Sumter, SC, Harper Lin Brown of Florence, SC, and Griggs Michael Brown of Florence; sisters, Shelley Fogel and husband Eric, Jennifer Fogel, Lea Gardner and husband Jimmy; nieces, Camryn Gardner, Sullivan Shealy, Morgan Schmidt, and Skylar Grace Shealy; nephew, Carson Gardner.

The family will be holding a visitation between the hours of 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Florence, SC followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm, officiated by Dr. David Wike.
