Cathy Jane Clontz Tanner, 65, of Florence, SC, entered into rest on March 2, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Cathy was born to Martha Elizabeth Smith and Bill Clontz on February 21, 1958 in Charlotte, NC. She enjoyed spending time with her husband Mark and watching old movies. Her laughter and love were enjoyed by all, especially her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Mark Tanner, children Libby and Chad Jordan, grandchildren Austin McKenzie and Gracie Jordan (Jason). She also is survived by her father, Bill Clontz (Dodee), and brothers Tim Clontz (Robin), Chris Clontz, Bryan Clontz and Brodee Clontz. Cathy was predeceased by her mom, Martha Elizabeth Smith.

Cathy Jane Clontz Tanner’s death impacts many people, but the years we had together impacted us the most.

The family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory in lieu of flowers.
