Ashley Hucks Kirkland

Ashley Hucks Kirkland, 50, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.  She was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late Herbert and Anita Kolb Hucks.  She is also predeceased by her husband, Kenny Kirkland.

Ashley was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School and she worked as a dental assistant for Sexton’s Dental Clinic both in Florence and Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by two sons, Blake Sweatt and Brady Sweatt of Florence; two step sons; Kevin and Chris Kirkland of Aiken; three loving grandchildren, McKynna, Addison and CJ; her sister Dabney Faulk and her favorite brother in law, Chris Faulk of Monks Corner; and an aunt and uncle, Amelia and Larry Stolberg of Minnesota.  

The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Pointe North Church, 110 BiLo Drive, Monks Corner, SC 29461.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.  A private scattering ceremony will be held at a later date.
