William Earl Gibbs, Jr.

William Earl Gibbs, Jr., 67, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Pee Dee Gardens.  Mr. Gibbs was born in Florence, SC, a son of Edaphell Hyman Gibbs and the late William Earl Gibbs, Sr.  He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era and had worked for Sexton’s Dental Clinic and San-Glo Glass Company.  He attended Immanuel Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death in addition to his father, by a brother, James Alton Gibbs.

Surviving in addition to his mother are two children, Brandi Renee Dillmore and William Earl “Rusty” Gibbs, III, two grandchildren, Brendan and Carter Dillmore, three sisters, Cheryl Gibbs (Jack) Galloway, Cecelia Gibbs (Bill) Burbage, and Kathy Gibbs Ford, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A church led memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Immanuel Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends immediately following the services.
