Werner Albert Seitz

Darlington A memorial service for Werner Albert Seitz, husband of Hannelore Seitz will be at 3:00PM, Sunday, July 20, 2008, in Cain Funeral Home Chapel, Florence conducted by the Rev. Hiram Moseley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Memorials may be made to Darlington Rescue Squad, PO Box 1936 Darlington, SC 29532.



Mr. Seitz, 68, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, in a Florence hospital. He was born March 27, 1940, in Stuttgart, Germany, to the late Hans and Else Trefz Seitz.



Mr. Seitz was educated in Germany. He was employed by Roche Pharmaceuticals in New Jersey and Florence for 29 years, retiring in 2006. He was named employee of the year in 2005. While living in New Jersey he coached his favorite sport, soccer. His hobby was woodworking, especially with oak. He loved his family and the beach.



Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: daughter, Christine (Jeffrey) Stabille of Mansfield, NJ; son, Werner (Julie) W. Seitz of Twinsburg, OH; grandchildren, Victoria, Ryan, Catherine, Hannah and Joseph; sisters, Margot Friedrich and Christa Frey both of Stuttgart, Germany; brothers, Erick Seitz, Manfred Seitz and Jurgen Seitz all of Stuttgart, Germany,
