Ethan "EDP" Alexander Dale-Perry

Ethan Alexander Dale-Perry “EDP”, 21, of Florence, SC went to his heavenly home on August 6 ,2019.  He was born August 7, 1997 in Rockford, IL, the son of Chaz Perry and Alesha Dale. He attended Florence schools and graduated from Wilson High School in 2016.

Ethan was an avid baseball player and loved the Boston Red Sox.  He was affectionately known as “EDP” on and off the field. He was a polite and loving young man who always rooted for the underdog. He played on many different baseball teams throughout his life and was a force to be reckoned with. Through baseball he gained a large extended family in his teammates and their parents. Ethan had a beautiful smile that could light up the room and we know that one day we will get to see it again.

Ethan is survived by his parents Chaz Perry and Alesha Dale and his sister Alexis, all of Florence, SC. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Sylvia Craig, of Janesville, WI; Patricia Dale, of Florence, SC; his paternal grandparent, Barbara Yahn of Rockford, IL and his Godfather, Michael Tighe. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved canine companion, Oso.  

Ethan was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Gary W. Dale.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Christian Assembly Church in Florence, SC.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is assisting the family.
