On late Saturday, August 11th,2018, Deborah Charlene Vann Polous ascended into the unchanging arms of the Lord. Surrounded by loved ones in the dwelling of her home, she entered grace peacefully.
On October 11th, 1955 adoringly referred to as “Debbie”, she was born to Charles Vann and Shirley Long in Summerton SC. She attended Clarendon County Schools from grade to high school graduation. She later attended Coker College in Hartsville SC and received her Associates Degree in Criminal Science. Afterwards, she joined the work workforce and became a Human Resource Consultant in the administrative filed.
Debbie was definitely one of a kind. She had a jovial heart, witty sense of humor, and the innate ability to love beyond faults. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, watching movies, but most favored and well known for shopping.
She is left to be cherished by her husband Frank Polous of 39 years of glorious matrimony. An Aunt Carol and Uncle Jerry, two sisters Tammy Martin, Christy Vann, a step mother Lynn Vann, two loving children Ashley Polous-Mackey and Charles Kenneth Polous, two adorable grandchildren Kaeleyla Polous and Taylor Mackey. As we all know Debbie to be such a family-oriented woman deeply rooted in family values she also became an adoptive mother to Adrianna Allison, Michelle Richardson and Jessie Humphries. She also leaves a countless number of cousins, adoring friends and former colleagues.
Debbie was a free spirit, kind hearted, hardworking, and family-oriented woman. She will forever be missed to those who were lucky enough to share beautiful memories with her.
