John Dean Bell, 69, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. He was born in Dillon, SC, a son of the late James William and Effie Virginia Dean Bell. He is also predeceased by his wife, Edna Pauline Bell and five brothers, William J. Bell, Bobby J. Bell, George C. Bell, Joseph E. Bell and Thomas B. Bell.
John was the Owner/Operator of Bell’s Janitorial Service in Virginia and was later employed with Southeastern Janitorial service after moving back to South Carolina. He was a member of Willow Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother, Cecil J. Bell and a sister, Peggy Collins; a special niece Virginia (Thomas) Lee; and a number of nieces and nephews, his canine companions, who he loved with all of his heart, Dixie, Daisy and Charlie.
A memorial service, led by the church, will take place at 12:30 PM on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Willow Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following at the church.
